I kept cockatiels, ringneck doves, corturnix quail (non perching, everyday laying speckled eggs variety), budgie, zebra finches, pigeons, n some bantam chickens, all together in aviary, and no trouble, except everything eating high protien quail feed and getting poops until everything eating parakeet feed n supplimenting quail bantams and nesting tiels with mealworms. Doves used hanging planters for nests, n quial had upside down pots on ground with lil holes to get in. contrary to popular belief, courtournix meat n egg quail sometimes will have a hen or line of hens that will brood eggs and at times chicks,as had a female and her daughters that always would brood their eggs given thick brush etc to content themselves building safe quiet nest, n another and her daughters that laid as they ate pooped n walked aroun. cheers n enjoy them. fyi cockatiels did best nesting in one pot upside down on hanging planter baskets (why theydid best misted, let to nest there, n given mealworms, am guessing maybe seeming more natural???).
