Doves for Weddings..Info Please

I got my white homers for $4 each at my local livestock auction. The neighbors all love them. They are always asking me about my doves lol.

I payed 10.00 a bird for birds that had been homing from 150 miles.

Lot of white homers out there, not all good at finding their way home from far away.

I'm looking for white homers myself (not for releases but for racing).
It seems that white racing homers are quite rare.
I think geneticly "white" is not a good sign on homing instinct for racing anyway.
I have also found several people who are trying to fix that.
