I have 5 chickens and 2 ducks. I want to rehome 4 of the chooks. Will the remaining chook be lonely or are the ducks good enough company for her? We will also have a baby turkey in the run with them soon

Curious @Sandfly45 why are you getting rid of the chickens?
What genders are the ducks...and the chickens?

Keeping different species together can be troublesome as they have different feed and housing needs.

Ducks are both girls and they get on fine with the chooks. So yesterday I rehomed 3 of the chooks and have kept 2. I am hatching pet turkeys soon so wanted to make room in the run for them. Also the chooks lay so many eggs they were all going to waste (and costing a bit to feed). Just too many for us I guess

Thanks for the update. And I know your birds will be happier as a pair than a single. Too many eggs?! What a great problem to have. Can you find a neighbor who would appreciate them?
