My guinea has lost his brother and frantically calling - his sibling was killed 2 weeks ago...what can I do?

No spare guineas in my area and I am about to move. I have one chicken left but they rarely hang out.

Should I try to give him away?
Thanks

So sorry you lost one of your guineas.

Guineas are a flock bird and don't like being alone. If you aren't able to find a friend for him it would probably best to let him go to a new home. Just make sure that whoever gets him will keep him confined until he adjusts to his new location and new friends. Otherwise he may just fly away.

Hello, I'm Madison and I have 2 Guinea fowl keets whom I believe are 2 or 3 weeks old. Sadly, I have to get rid of them and they are free to a good home. I think they are pearl and we're starting to suspect that there is one boy and one girl. Thank you so much for your time and please contact me if interested. (I live in the greenwood, Indiana area)

Guineas are such flock animals so I hate to see your Guinea so lonely! What area of the country do you live in? I'm guessing we don't live anywhere near each other but I will just throw this out there: I'm in Iowa and if you are anywhere near me, I would take your Guinea if your needing to get rid of him. I currently have 7 Guineas who roam 4 acres during the day and are in a coop at night, but I do have a way to keep him penned up until he gets used to our place.
