Down to feathers: Color switch ☺

Yesterday during brood maintenence I noticed a couple of my chicks that were yellow now look white and black and white! I thought "How interesting is that!"

She flew out brooder whilst I was doing my thing; pooped on the floor (of course) and eventually flapped back in.

I am so excited with watching them grow up and morph into how they are going to finally look.

I apparently did not get a shot of the white one. My chicken photography does not rock. Need to get it together by next year for the 2024 calendar.
