I am beginning the process of building a chicken coop for my wife and she has selected the Downeast Thunder coop design. Has anyone developed a materials list and cut list for this project?

Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

Thanks for your reply. The drawings are good but there is no material list or cut list for the lumber.

Could make your own from the drawings....
...or use the contact page to ask for cut list.

Not the greatest design, IMO.
Needs bigger roof overhangs all the way around, with open soffits.

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

Agree with @aart and also adding, the windows should open out so they can be left open if it rains and please don't use chicken wire anywhere on the coop, like they did on the windows. Use 1/2 inch hardware cloth. A predator will tear right through chicken wire.

Here's a link to my article on making top hinged window supports, if your interested.
