Although Wind was talking to Lily, Holly came into the pasture. Wind lowered his head and she put his halter on. She led him to the arena and put his harness on. Holly attached a buggy to it, climbed in, and slapped the reins. Wind walked around the arena pulling the buggy.

Fergus, having too much fun, failed to notice Flowers falling behind.

The little foal galloped her hardest and squealed loudly; her parents were leaving her behind!
Winona skidded to an abrupt stop, and she pawed at the dry earth. Her ears flicked back. They were close to Summer Set. "Wait here, Fergus. I have unfinished business to take care of... At Summer Set. Flowers, come along."

Fergus turned, staring at Winona with worried eyes. Was she returning to her old life, an old mate perhaps? He tossed his head and pawed impatiently, but for the time being, he would remain behind. "Al...alright, if you must." His eyes dropped to Flowers, at Winona's side. "Be careful."

Sensing his discomfort, she walked over to him and leaned into him a bit. "Don't worry. I just need to kick a two-timing stallion's butt, is all."

Fergus didn't looked very comforted; he didn't voice it. He did wonder why Winona needed Flowers to come in order to kick a two-timer's butt. Of course, a newborn foal would stick with its dam, regardless.

"Okay, I'll stay here." The Belgian stomped once more then stood still. "I'll stay until I think something's up."

Winona sighed. "I'll go later." She concluded.
