Lady's ears whipped back into a pin. "Can you not eavesdrop?"

Wind awoke from a 4 hour sleep. He nibbled some grass, sighed,and rolled over on his side.

Lady scowled, baring her teeth. "He wasn't there for most of Soar's birth. But, guess what. He jumps a zillion fences to get to Sasha when she gives birth!"

Holly, a stable girl, noticed that Wind had been laying down for a long time. " Call the doctor!" She yelled.

When the doctor arrived, he examined Wind. " Let's take him into his stall."
" What's wrong with him?" Holly asked.
" I'm not sure. He seems depressed. Just keep him in his stall and call me if anything happens."
" Will he be all right?"
" I don't know."
Wind was led into his stall. He laid back down.
