Ok, I put them in a hatchery. Now what?

You can abandon the caveborn eggs after 5 hours and abandoned eggs and hatchies right away.

Just watch your eggs. The earliest they can hatch is at 4 days left, have to hatch by 0 days left. Same for growing up.

Ok. Less confusing would be nice. If I want to take an egg out of the hatchery, how do I do it? Oh, also how many clicks does it need to hatch?

It depends on the hatchery. You'll have to look around the site you chose to figure it out. An egg needs at least 1,000 views to hatch, and clicks don't really matter.
