Drake attacking my girl

So my ducks are a year old now and my drake has suddenly started attacking one of my girls. I have the drake and 2 girls. He was chasing her all around the pen when I walked down there and had her cornered in the house. All her flight feathers are broken and torn (she has angel wing so I can see them all) so I locked him in the house for the moment... Why this aggression all of a sudden and what in the world do I do? I had a talk with him and told him I would let our friend eat him if he didn't knock it off but I would never do that (shhhh don't tell him though!)

Jerk comes with the season. I'd give her some time away to recoup and if he starts on the other one give him his own space for a while. When mating season first starts the drakes can be quite crazy with hormones but after a few months they do begin to calm down a bit. But in the mean time your duck/s need your protection.

Thank you! I have a crate I kept him in when we first adopted him because he was fresh then too. I kept him in it for a weeks or so while the got to know each other, ill stick his freshy fluffer butt in that if he keeps it up. He has his own space and still outside. But can't hurt the girls! Ty!!
