Drake feather?

Does this look like a drake feather that’s starting to curl? They are 7 weeks old today!

I was hoping not. This is the ducks I’m hoping is a girl lol and she keeps throwing me off!

And we worry too much I have 2 Indian Runner duckling that will be 4 weeks on Wednesday still peeping

Couple more weeks.

Mine (different breed - Pekins) are 9 weeks old today, I believe - could be off a day. They are starting to identify gender by their quacks pretty distinctively, one was quite clear last week, a couple seem to waffle, which is enough to mark them as girls. The suggestion of drake feathers are just starting to appear in a couple whose voices haven't yet changed into a more feminine and stereotypical "quack". I'll be more confident in those not yet quacking in about 2 weeks.

Usually around 10-12 weeks the drake feather starts emerging.
