Definetly sounds like a hen.
Here's my drake, his drake feather is no more though, not sure who yanked it out, himself or the Muscovy drake when they tussled one time
He is absolutely gorgeous! My husband loves Pekins, I'm thinking about getting him a pekin drake for fathers day, but I don't know how he will do with my cayuga. Our pekin female is his favorite of all our birds.
The snack was just wet bread lol. I know bread isnt nutricous for ducks but I do give her a slice every now and again, she LOVES it especially when its soggy. I also really loves grapes and peas.
