I have 1 pekin drake name is "daisy" and a female name is "shanno" ,daisy is almost 4 years old now, from last 2 days i observe he is hiding his paddles into feathers all the time while sleeping as well, her body posture while sleeping is something different from usually. Yesterday he was not proper walking i thought he has a pain in legs, I treat him with a voltral cream for pain release and put him in a warm tub for bathing but he is still have pain. I'm giving my ducks a "augmentin syrup" prescribed by vet from 3 days because my female one have a neck issue she can't round back her neck properly but after treatment she is pretty better now, she also do same like my drake 2 days before 2 to 3 times but she is ok, so maybe it is a side effects?
Is he has any disease? May i go to vet?
Please help me if you have any information about this.
I have attached his pictures.
They both eating and drinking fine but my drake looks so lazy and sitting mostly.

Hi @Dulzura Daisy is beautiful and looks healthy. I know looks can be deceiving though,
Since he has only been on the antibiotic for 3 days maybe he needs to take the full days before whatever is going on works. Looks like from what you have described your doing what you can to help. I know we have probably been over this before but what are you feeding them? Nutrient deficiency can cause issues with legs too like low vitamin b3 [Niacin.] any way you can get some liquid B complex and give that to your ducks for a while and see if that makes any difference,. Even when my adult ducks injure their legs from running up and down the hill behind our home I will give them extra Nutritional yeast or Liquid B complex to support while they heal.

His feed includes zelta (supplementary feed), wheat, rice, bananas, apples, tomatoes, grits, vitamin b12, ORS (for electrolytes), cerelac, lysovit syrup, boiled eggs, crushed egg shells( for calcium).
I know this is not enough but still trying to keep them healthy.
Alright I'll do my best and add complex b in his feed as well.
If it works i will update you soon. ❤️

Hello hope you are fine ☺️
Complex b really works and he is now perfectly fine ❤️
Thank you so much for suggesting.
