Drake shaking head

Frequent head shaking can be due to several conditions; a few to mention would be an ear infection, ectoparasites, matter lodged in the throat, or some neurological conditions.

A good portion of those conditions mentioned can be checked for by performing a physical examination. As a start, I would try to check inside his mouth, and choanal slit for anything possibly stuck, check his ears for any sign of swelling, or gunk buildup. Move further down his body, and check is the head, neck, vent for any signs of mites, or lice.
