My Drake has been a little off for the last few days. He's drinking a lot of water but I'm not sure if he's eating. I haven't seen any poops other than really liquidy ones. He seems more quiet and less energetic in general. He's really sensitive around his genitalia. I've also seen it hanging out a bit but not for a couple days. Anything I can do for him to help ease his sensitivity/possible pain?

Please see the below video for this pulsing thing he's doing with his tail. He appears to be swollen around the base of his tail and his oil gland.

Can you post a picture of it? Is a vet an option?
I don't have a pic of his penis as he's not hanging it out today. But his lower back is hard and pink. Attached is a pic of his gland, hopefully you can tell it looks swollen and pink. His whole back is pink like that. I have him a warm bath and he's grooming himself like normal now, beak to oil gland and all, but I'm still concerned.

How is he doing?
He is still swollen and sensitive in his lower back / tail / cloaca area. I took him to the vet and got 3 days worth of pain relief / anti-inflammatory and 7 days of antibiotics. He had a slight fever and is about 1/2 a pound underweight (though he's always been skinny. He takes his guard drake role very seriously and I think he eats less than my girls as a result). We're learning how to take medicine by oral syringe. He's not loving it but I hope he feels better soon. Not eating much other than lettuce / cabbage / mealworms but attempting to forage and drinking lots of water.

What a sweetheart. I hope he's feeling better soon! 💖🦆
