Hello, I think my drake might have a broken wing, it just hangs there and he doesn’t move it a lot. He will try and fold it up to where it belongs but it just falls back down. Is there something I can do to fix it? I read that you can wrap it with vet wrap or tape.
Any advise is appreciated, thanks :)
Here is a picture of him, this is what his wing stays like.

Sorry for the bad picture, he wouldn’t stay still :D

You can gently wrap it against his body so it stays snug. Don't pull the wrap to hard or you can cut off the circulation. I'm not sure about any pain medication here, but I'll tag @Isaac 0 here too.

Keep an eye on him as well and make sure the other ducks aren't picking on him or pulling the wrap. Hope this helps! ❤️

Okay, that is what I was planning on doing. Thank you!

I suggest physically examining the wing to determine whether there is a break or not.
If it feels like a bone is out of place, or may be broken it would be best to see a veterinarian experienced with birds.
If you can't feel anything irregular with the wing, there may be some tissue damage in which case you could bandage the wing loosely for a few days/week. If the bandage is left on too long the bones will become atrophic and weak. Asprin can be given at 5 miligrams per kilogram once a day to combat some of the inflammation.

Thank you, unfortunately we can’t take him to a vet but I will do all I can for him :)
