Drake?

I just got these ducks about a week ago... They haven't laid eggs yet.. They are very scared all the time could this be why? And is the black one a drake?

They are probably nervous, the new surroundings, new people, new environment. Just give them time to get used to everything.
Could you post a close up shot of the black duck? Also drakes have a raspy quack, and hens have a really loud quack.

Hmmm, hard to tell. Does he/she have a curled feather at the tail.
Do you know how old they are?
