I have 10 runners & 6 welsh harlequins, and I think, based on their voices, that I have 1/2 girls & 1/2 boys. How many of the boys can I keep?

Can they live with the girls year round, or do they need separate housing?

If I can only keep a couple of the boys, which ones would allow for the widest variety of color possibilities? I have emery penciled, silver/splash, black & blue drakes. I have emery penciled, silver/splash, black & fawn & white ducks.

If they're out of sight of the girls, can a flock of drakes live together?

Do ducks breed year round, or are they seasonal?

How do you set things up for them when they breed? Can you have a pair of ducks, and just watch to make sure he's not breeding her too much? Or does a drake need to have more than 1 girl? Or does it depend on the drake?

How old do they have to be before they can breed?
