Call drake, normal behavior, (active, vocal, good appetite), no ruffled feathers, but his penis is hanging out and he seems to strain for elimination. There are solids in the waste but not like there should be and there is this sound made as he passes waste. It sounds like this is coming from his behind instead of his throat.
I tried to lube up and push it back in with success, but it came back out. I also gave him a dose of mineral oil down his throat to help him pass waste easier.
What next, any thoughts? Can he recover without vet help?
