Hello everyone!
Another question.. my ducks are 9 weeks old I have 2 Peking (which are molting) and 2 Cayuga. I know for sure 1 Peking (Betty) and 1 Cayuga (Lillian) are females because if I’m outside and not paying them any mind I hear about it! But I think the other 2 are males.. when did you see your drake feathers? And did you have a problem with having 2 males with 2 females? (Mind you these are raised as pets) And when did you start to see eggs 🥚?

I started seeing drake feathers around 12 - 13 weeks, but you really should be able to tell by voice by now.

A 1:1 ratio will not work, period. Your hens will be majorly abused, and your drakes will fight constantly. You’d need at least a 1:3 if not more for it to be okay. I personally recommend a 1:4 or 1:5.

The earliest I’ve seen eggs was 4.5 months, latest 6 - 7 months, and their eggs should be big and mature by 1 year old.

the Peking that I think is a male (Bill) because he sounds like an old TV when he makes a noise. He has a bum foot.. he’s really lazy. Do you think he would be aggressive? He still steps on his own feet

I tried to keep 2 drakes with 4 hens, the boys would rape the other guys girls. In the end they both had to go because they learned bad habits. I would not buy from Tractor Supply if your goal is girls. Many people seem to end up with more males than females from there. I believe they sell what is left from a hatchery that sells sexed-ducklings, so lots of left over boys in that bin.
