I got all my baby chicks at about 2-3 days old but I have one that’s way smaller than the others and not growing at the rate of the others. Is this normal? They are all about 3 weeks old now.

I have a bunch of bantams right now. One was smaller than the others at first, and just never grew as fast as the others, didn’t feather out as fast, etc. It ate and drank, but just didn’t thrive. Eventually it died (at about 2 weeks old). I have been watching another one lately. They are almost 5 weeks old now, and one just isn’t feathering out as fast as others of the same breed ...

Yeah I’m hoping this one is a mix up and not a sickly one. It’s my lil boys favorite of course
