Wow! Goldey and Mane Avis look amazing! Thank you!
Mane Avis is your rooster, right?Wow! Goldey and Mane Avis look amazing! Thank you!
Thank you so much! Shes the lead hen, no one messes with her. She likes to kind of stab downwards with her upper beak to show discipline. We keep her beak is dull so she doesn't hurt anybody.I would love that! She is a beautiful hen.
Aww she's adorable! Is she a delaware hen? She looks exactly like our delaware hen named Judy. Delawares have so much personality!this is her intense face when she wants treats View attachment 2929099

Lol! That reminds me of one of my hens who was sick for a month, then we reintroduced her and she was the top hen in thirty seconds!Thank you so much! Shes the lead hen, no one messes with her. Haha, they always act spunkier after having special treatment. Thin Mint was the same way, she got super sick (almost died) but then slowly started getting better. A little bit after she laid her first egg she went broody and hatched out a clutch of 6 ducklings (100% success hatch rate). After her duck babies grew up she was lonely so we have her set up in our barn to wander. A bunch of other chickens are also in there because they fly in through the stalls so around 10 chickens in there..? The only one Thin Mint really tolerates is Popcorn (calico princess hen). We also have a salmon faverolle with a limp in the barn to be away from the roos. What was your hen's name?Lol!
