Dreadful Chore Challenge. Come on, join us!

I don't like pricing the stuff & I dislike sitting in the yard while people pick through my stuff. That's why I just gave it to the charity thrift shop. I was able to bag up and "rehome" a carload of clothes and shoes. My laundry room looks soooo much better.

Today's dreaded chore: Business prospecting. Nothing makes me feel more like a goon than phoning people up and asking for their business. If my career was strictly sales, I wouldn't make a dime!

Yesterday, I cleaned my home office for the first time in... uhm... Okay, it had been YEARS. Today I am officially off work.

Okay, gang, the weekend is almost over. How 'bout a challenge for the coming week?

Besides my usual business-person activities, I want to create a meal plan for the coming week, so that I am not so scattered at dinner time. What dreadful chore will you tackle?

Dreaded chore challenges of the day...
Mow the 1/4 acre and actually MOVE stuff in the way for a proper cut, then weed wack.
Clean the bathroom
Empty the liter boxes
Build the new quail pen for the miserable male that plucks his compatriots.

MY dreaded chore list for the week

MY INLAWS ARE COMMING!!!! ( i must clean fanatically cause she is a total neat freak or i can leave it and she will do it when she gets here lmao)

Fold the dang socks - I hate the socks they sit in a basket and we pick through them - complex left from having to fold the socks for a family of 8 as a child.
Clean out the tub drain - ewwwwwwwwwwww so disgusting.
start moving my wood pile and bringing in winter wood to the wood room in the basement.
Clean the coop and run - UGH
and then just the general cleaning/ laundry

Ok been reading this thread on and off since it started. You guys encouraged me to do a couple of dreaded chores so far.

I called up the student loan peeps and deferred my payments, it was 156 days behind

I kept thinking I would find a job and could pay them...

I made an appointment for tomorrow to go in and find out if I can finish my degree. I am dreading this more than calling the loan people. I should be almost done but last year had a lot of things happen in the family and did not ever turn in a final "work study". It is not so much the embarressment of not doing the final work, but being yelled at or made to feel two feet tall that I dread. I have a good friend though that told me if I did not go talk to them she would pretend she was me and call them up and make an appointment.

Once I survive that I will start working on household dreaded chores!

Do some more priming on outside of the new 12x14' coop. At least it is 10 degrees cooler and a lot lower humidity than it was before the storms came through yesterday.

Got 5 dozen more ears of sweet corn to husk, blanch, cut off the cob and freeze ~ already froze a bunch last week.

Went to TSC and picked up chicken feed, wood shavings and dog food this AM.
