it is wonderful that something so simple can turn out so satisfactory isn't it ?
I tasted mine on day two. am satisfied with the flavor so far. today is day four.
I haven't looked at it since I tasted it.
our snow has not melted. some of it did, but not all.
GS os facing $15oo.oo in repairs on his car. He decided the money would be better spent as a down payment on something newer. so today we get to babysit our great GSon. He is nine months old already..

We are enjoying the GS, Dad went to buy a new/used car so we got to babysit for a couple of hours. It puts , it takes a village to raise a child, into perspective. what a workout.
The directions for my kraut said to give it four days,. I think that was a type o..

Well, Jim, everyone needs a good workout now and then !

I went back home yesterday and stopped off at Fleet Farm, TSC and PetSmart (are you sensing a theme here?). I tried hard but couldn't resist a book, "Can It and Ferment It." Since my kraut turned out so well and I'm looking forward to Saturday's canning workshop, I figured I might as well check out some additional recipes. The cranberry-orange relish ferment looks really good.

Heading to Bomgaars in a few hours -- 20 percent off regular-priced merchandise. So, I will be loading up on feed and pine shavings.

I went to a couple of how to classes .
I got a lot of information from them.
It was like going to school, but I didn't have to do homework. lol
the baby and his mom have covid.
also her dad has it. they have their shots.
Annie and I seem to be immune. we have all the shots and were exposed to so many people that had it. not worried.
GS got his new/used car.
a 2017 Chevy suv. nice car.
I was listening to the tv. Annie turned it off so I got up. 2AM.
will have a glass of wine and see how long I will stay up ..

the sun was shining, until about 2PM.
I lightly graded the driveway before I put the tractor away.
I haul the garbage dumpsters out to the road , in the loader bucket.
I had my hearing tested today. about the same as it was six years ago. got fitted for ear pieces and will be getting a rechargeable set of hearing aids. no more batteries to fiddle with. she also said that the ear pieces won't fall out when I chew..
the new ones should be here Dec5th .
Annie has the sniffles. I am staying my distance from her.

Hopefully Annie gets better Jim. Here I'm trying to straighten out the diabetic dogs blood sugars but am failing miserably. She's nearly blind now from it. So discouraging.

How do you check a dogs blood sugar? Bless your heart that is true devotion!
