Dreaming of Spring Gardening in the Middle of a Wisconsin winter part 2

Pics
I freeze my tomatoes these days. No more jar canning for me. I gave it up and got rid of everything so I didn't feel guilty every time I looked at the jars and canning pot. :)
Freezing is another excellent idea!!!

I somewhat feel that way looking at the canning spices and book I bought last year :lau

And the Instapot and other stuff I’ve bought and never use :lau

But my garden is gonna be huge this year, possibly even need multiple gardens, and I’m so excited but so exhausted lol

You will be thoroughly exhausted by fall if you plans pan out. I will be too.
Yes for sure!!! All the planting and chicks and everything!!! Especially since I’m likely going to do multiple hatches this year :lau :th

But hopefully once I get the garden in it won’t be that much work lol

Like hopefully the starting is the hardest part. :lau

My mom got me some gardening books. :D

And the best part is they’re really cheap at her work so she got all of them for less than $20  :th

Normally it’d be like at least $60 or $70 elsewhere

I love them though. Been flipping through them already lol they’re really interesting.

I've become a big fan of hydrangeas. I've been adding them yearly. This is my favorite.

I didn't take a lot of garden pictures last year. Here's my little concrete pony.

These are so gorgeous. :love I know this is from a while ago but I just saw it and had to say it haha may need to go read from the beginning now. :D

Btw my mom loves hydrangeas too. Although we’ve never had any special or fancy kind haha

They’re really common here though especially closer to the Cape/beach for some reason lol

I love them too now.

Since it's getting harder to tend flowers here for me, flowering shrubs are now a new interest of mine. I never paid hydrangea much much mine either, but now they are a thing for me. So many varieties, both big woody shrubs, and smaller perennial types, that I couldn't possibly fit them all in.
