We went shopping today. Probably a bad day for us to choose being the first of the month. We got through it eventually.

Yesterday it was like all the stores were filled with zombies, only they weren't after my brain, they just wanted to block every aisle, and ever product I wanted.

heifers blocking the aisles is my favorite gripe about shopping.
today I made a new recipe that I made up for venison sloppy joes. it was yummy. but next time I am going to leave the yellow mustard out. The venison was so fat free, I added some water toward the end of simmering so there was enough moisture to soak into the bun a little.
the new batch of kraut is one week old.
I tasted it today. can still taste the raw cabbage a little, but the flavor is there..

Hope everyone is doing okay. Hope your Kraut is coming along Jim. It's unseasonably warm. Was tempted to go mow the lawn. Did get to pick up dog waste. Every bit counts. Come spring it can be quite the job. If it stays warm like this I might go plant some lettuce.
