Dreaming of Spring Gardening in the Middle of a Wisconsin winter part 2

Hope your kitty feels better today, Lisa.

I'm up way too early because my ever-alert dogs could hear a coyote singing in the dark at 2:30, and they wanted me to hear it, too. I did my normal half-asleep, half-dressed run out into the night, yelling and clapping to scare off the soloist. By the time the excitement was over, going back to sleep was impossible.

At least, it's above freezing so the meager overnight rain didn't ice up the ramp and send me spiraling down toward the walkway.

Starting plants indoors is always an exercise in futility for me. I carefully nurture those tiny seeds until they sprout -- then kill every one within the next few weeks. I admire anyone who can raise them long enough to get them into the ground.
Scaring off the soloist… :gig

Oh, Lisa. I just read the post about having to let go of your poor cat.

Sometimes --too often it seems -- the kindness thing is to let them go. I am so very sorry about your kitty.
Thank you Barb. I'm a closet cat person. He will be missed. The saddest part was he wasn't even a year old yet. Here he is back in June. He was pretty.
