Dreaming of Spring Gardening in the Middle of a Wisconsin winter part 2

good job mama goose.
I miss my geese more than I do the chickens.
we are having a lot of rain and thunder.
I left the repoted plants outside in the wheelbarrow. they did OK the first night. I have not checked them today after the heavy rain. probably are floating in water in the wheelbarrow.
the motion light is working , it has to be dark before it turns on.

well, we weathered the storm quite well.
about 2 " of rain. had a tornado warning but it turned out negative.
I tried the instant pot for pressure cooking ribs
the trial test for pressure went well. but when I put the ribs in, I could not get any pressure. I got heat so in the time I fiddled with it I slow cooked the ribs and they turned out OK.

Got some unplanned exercise this morning. I had taken the dogs out just minutes earlier and was getting ready to do chores. Looked to the north of the deck, and there was a coyote, right up by the house -- although not on the side where the coops are.

I chased said mangy mongrel to the end of the property and watched it disappear as it crossed the neighbor's field. The coyotes are getting more brazen this spring.

Congrats on the ribs, Jim. It's gray and rainy today, perfect for slow cooking something.

Barb. I'll bet that coyote is still running. lol
Annie said the motion light went on at 2am., stayed on for a long time. we have to get a trail cam. I bet it is a zoo out there at night.
I shredded the ribs and made bbq meat for sandwiches.
used up a whole bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce.
plus some catsup. there were 5 pounds of ribs.
I actually knew Ray. a friend of mine and I remodeled a restaurant where he was a chef. The Wausau Club.
they left the soda machine for us to help ourselves. and Ray made us lunch every noon. after work, Ray would walk across the street to the tavern and spend a long time.
the cardinal is still thumping the patio door. Annie's sister pasted an image of a hawk on the window, but that doesn't deter the cardinal.
i repotted a couple of tomatoes and squash plants.
put them into the wheelbarrow and left them.they went through the tornado warning and a morning of 33f and are doing ok.
How are the goslings doing ?
44F and light rain

I later found, the bear left a pile 💩 and it took a bite of a bag of kitty litter 🤣 that I left on the porch, delivered yesterday from chewy that I hadn't brought in the house, it must not have tasted very good because the bag wasn't ripped open just bit, a nice bite mark, should have taken a pic! but I taped it and didn't lose much.
