DREAMS...

hit.gif
thats so sad....

I dreamt that I was aware of myself in bed on my right side with my left hand on top of the quilt. I felt a rumbling feeling and felt myself slowly being pulled off the bed and towards the far wall. I felt myself start to get a little panicky and held on the the quilt for dear life.

I wanted to call out but I couldn't, so off I went through the wall and at the same time I was twirling and spinning with the quilt wrapping itself around me, then suddenly I was floating near the ceiling of a brightly lit department store with no one inside.

Once I realized that I was floating there, I wanted to look around then it was like I wasn't allowed to so I was coming back when I looked behind me and saw these black cloudy wisps of shadows or something trying to grab my legs and arms, I got mad and said "No you don't you @#%&* leave me alone! And I was kicking at them.

Then I woke up with my hands on the quilt in a tight fist.

This is where it gets wierd. My dream is over it's the next day and I'm driving to work thinkin about what the heck happened in that "dream" As I was driving there was no traffic, I'm thinking this is great! I'm going through a green light when out of the blue some jerk in the left turning lane decides at the last minute to pull in front of me. I was thinking about my dream and was totally aware of my surrounding when I saw this person and I stopped in time for them to cut me off. She drove like she didn't even see me. (JERK) I think if I wasn't aware of my dream from the night before I may have been in a terrible accident.

My Grandfather and Grandmother use to sleep in separate beds cause Grandpa would dream and act out fights in his sleep.

And well now that I'm here, honestly I can count the number of dreams I remember having in my life on one hand. And all of them were when I was kid. And they were basically reenactments of books I've read (One a ghost story, the others were Native American legends).

The one my mother thinks is hilarious is the time I dreamed I was pregnant, in the hospital, and delivered a litter of kittens. When she was pregnant with me, she also had the same dream. Apparently it's genetic.

DH's favorite is the dream where I "wake up" and I'm in bed with ex-BF, only in my dream I'm married to him and living in this run-down crummy apartment, and I start crying in my dream and complaining how I had this lovely dream that I was married to (real DH) and he was so nice and we had this big house. Ex-BF gets mad and starts yelling that I must be cheating on him with (real DH) and so on, until I wake up.

I rather like the ones where I meet dead relatives. There was one especially sweet one where I go on a business trip somewhere and run into a wise old lady who introduces me to a young boy (about 9-10 years old) and tells me that he is my dad, reincarnated. I give the kid a hug and tell him to study math and science very hard, because he'll find a natural gift for it, the boy's parents make me a cup of tea, and then the old lady tells me I have to get back to work.

When I was a child my mom used to love the show Fantasy Island. Man that show would give me messed up dreams!!!

My whole PERSONALITY is messed up (in a good sort of way) because my parents let me watch Yellow Submarine, this psychedelic Beatles animated movie, when I was little. I loved that movie.
