Dressing Quail

Hey everyone, hope the weather is as beautiful where you are as it is where I am.


Well, it is about time to cull some of my birds. I was wondering, how does everyone prefer to dress out their coturnix? Do you just take the breasts off like most do with doves or do you dress out the whole bird?

I like to skin them and keep the whole bird there is a good bit of meat on those thighs and legs if you cook them carefully and don't dry out the legs.

Haha! I get the same sort of response with my dressed rabbits I sell at farmers market people asked me how are they dressed but thy are serious! Don't know what dressed means

I actually plucked a few bobs the other night most times with coturnix I use the utube method dressing quail that's gonna be rolling around my head for a day or 2 LOL for some reason this made me think of the village people LOL
