Dried Cow Corn on the Cob

Is dried corn on the cob of to feed chickens? I've given them dried cow corn on the cob. They eat it right up and haven't had a problem. Is this ok?

We grow field corn, AKA cow corn, and my chickens love it. I don't bother cracking it, thats what their crop does. I even give some to them still on the cob. Its ok to feed it whole
