One of our ducklings seems to always pant and now it’s tongue looks like it’s drying out. They have deep water and go outside in puddles and a pool. It’s room temperature in their brooder which is 72 degrees. They’re about 3-4 weeks old and partially feathered out. This one duckling is always panting no matter what we try. It’s tongue looks healthy and pink down the center but the sides of the tongue look like they’re dry. How do I help it? We just came in from them swimming outside not even 30 minutes ago.
