Anyone have any experience feeding kelp to their chickens? We just ordered some and was wondering how it has worked for others.
Another question: Our pullets started laying in Sept of '08, we had a light on them all winter and was getting 1 egg/day untill about 2 wks ago. No change in feed, they don't look like they are molting, and no cracked egg shells to suggest varments unless they are eating shell and all. Hidden nest-maybe. Me and hubby have looked everywhere to no avail.
We've decided it might be a nutrient problem.....any ideas?
