Dried Petals Advice Requested

I hope I'm not duplicating a topic that was previously posted, I couldn't figure out how to search for a subject within a particular forum to see if it was brought up before. But does anyone have advice on which types of dried petals are best to throw in my hen boxes to be good for antibacterial/microbial and healthy for them to pick at? Possibly also be good for deterring insects? I've read about Calendula petals and possibly Lavender? Are there any others and also does anyone know about what amount would be good to use at a time? Thank you so much. I uploaded pics of a couple of my girls when they were little and their Golden buddy, but they're all 6 months old now and laying Just for fun.

Many herbs are good too. I have mint growing on the outside of their run. As it grows crazy and gets in the hens eat it.

Marigolds are nice. Also dried oregano is popular with chickens. I was also curious about this and bought a commercial mix to try. Pricey but interesting.
