Drinking alot!!

For what reason, I don't know but my 7 girls and Mr. Rooster have been drinking alot the past couple of weeks. 2 gallons did last 2-3 days now every day.
This started during the extreamly cold snap and even though its warmed up they're drinking habits haven't changed.

......Dunno, any insight?

My 8 hens and 1 roo drink close to a gallon a day during the winter...more during the summer. Sounds normal to me.

Hmmm.... mine drink a lot every day- I don't think you should worry. Do a check around the area though, in case they are getting into something they shouldn't.


ETA- they drink a lot of WATER, just water!

But, hey who am I to say that. A nice summer day I drink a lot too.

But mostly if my inlaws are here.

I wont worry about yo chickies dinking toooo muuch. At leest they r drinkin'

Sorry, gotta ask this. Is your waterer leaking?
Check deep in the bedding surrounding it, not on the surface. The surface bedding tends to dry quickly, but if it's leaking you'll be able to tell by checking deeper.
