HATE IT! HATE IT! HATE IT! My teacher that I drive with has this monotone boring voice that puts you to sleep almost and then he suddenly screams when you do something wrong and you literally stomp on the gas or break! The classroom part is easy as pie! I have done well on all the written tests but see I have NEVER drove before except for on a dirt road with no cars and I wasn't turning, and this whole HANDS OVER HANDS thing when you turn! ARRRRRGG! Summer is not the time for school! I have to get up to run and lift in the morning at 6:30 and then I rush over to the highschool at 8 for driver's ed on Mondays and Wendesdays I don't drive but the rest of the time I have to drive at 10-11. I don't like driving with a stranger watching everything I do either it makes me nervous, and he tells me to do a bunch of stuff at once and I'm overwhelmed and froget things and he yells! Not worth driving even a T-Bird!! GEEZ! AND my partner has never drove either and amazingly he is like the GOD of driving (NO FAIR!) Anyway I haven't even drove on the road yet and he made me nervous and now I'm going to do something wrong and when he yells at me I'm going to crash into a pole or something and fail! Im supposed to drive on the road tommorow, I've never drove on a actual road! Last time I drived with my mom on a dirt road I got the gas and brake mixed up! (don't know how I managed to, don't ask.) Why in the world are they so darn picky! Different people drive differently like getting ready to drive in the exact order they say like I can't put my seat belt on BEFORE adjusting the mirrors (OH BIG DEAL, What difference does it make?!) I wish mom wasn't such a nervous nelly and would of drove with me when I was 14! Now I'm 16 and know nothing of driving! Im more likely to get in a wreck when I'm older! GAAAH!

I won't be walking any sidewalks anytime soon with you behind the wheel

Oh my.
I took driving school. In the middle of winter. With NO driving experience at all. At age 16.

I did not crash, and neither will you.
You'll be just fine. Just check you can see everything around you and do up your seat belt.

teacher scares me...and he likes my parnter better he doesn't get screamed at and the teacher talks to him like a normal person.

If you think your teacher is bad, just try taking driving lessons from your mother and/or your husband or any other relative. Between the two of them I was such a nervous wreck behind the wheel that I didn't get my license until I was 25. I wouldn't have gotten it then if a friend hadn't drug me, kicking and screaming all the way, down to the DMV. BTW, after dealing with my mother and my husband, the DMV driving tester was a cupcake and the test was a cinch. I once talked to a woman who had just gotten her CDL, commercial driving license, so she could drive big rigs. She wouldn't take driving lessons from her husband either. He was a licensed instructor too. She said it was worth every penny she paid to get instructions from someone else.

They are so darn picky because a vehicle can become a lethal weapon if the person behind the wheel doesn't know what they're doing!! Just try and relax, you'll get the hang of it.

Car Crash Stats: There were nearly 6,420,000 auto accidents in the United States in 2005. The financial cost of these crashes is more than 230 Billion dollars. 2.9 million people were injured and 42,636 people killed. About 115 people die every day in vehicle crashes in the United States -- one death every 13 minutes.

Well I know why they are picky but about CERTAIN things like the mirror and seatbelt why can't you put on the seatbelt before adjusting the mirrors?

You need to take your test in a antique car like my 1954 Ford Crestline.

It did not come factory equipped with seatbelts. That would mess the instructor up.
