Droopy butt.....eggbound???

so true . i have a new hen that is starting to lay. I can feel the egg inside her vent and it is hard as a rock. but I do have another hen that is laying and her eggs are soft inside her untill about 6 hours before she lays. Different strokes for different chickens..

be sure to feel her crop too, if you dont think she is eggbound, I just had one with sour crop, that I thought was eggbound, acting the same as yours tail down, lack luster...
