We have a chicken that is about a year old now, and the last couple of days she has not been scratching around with the rest of the flock. She has been huddled in the nesting boxes and won't come out. When we touch her, she raised her feathers a little and makes some noise. We pulled her out today and she just stood in the same place for couple minutes making some noise and then she jumped in the coop and ate a little bit. Not sure if she has been eating or drinking much. She is normally on of our most active chickens and she is not acting like herself. We have also noticed that the top of her comb has some white discoloration on it that wasn't present before nor do any of our other chickens have it. She does not look like she is injured in any way. If anyone has any advice, it would be appreciated.
