My black sexlink has one wing that she seems to be holding lower than the other and she isn't using it to flap. I held her yesterday and gave it a bit of a prodding, which caused no reaction from her, so I don't think it is broken. Can chickens sprain their wings or have some other reason that they might not use a wing? Her "good wing" was clipped, so I wonder if that has caused her to stop using the other one for some reason. It's very puzzling.

I don't know, but I have a hen with one wing lower then the other (un-clipped) she flies just fine and has never had a problem

It's weird because she has stopped using the wing. I watched her today and she jumped up on a chair - she flapped the good (and clipped) wing but didn't flap the droopy/unclipped wing at all. Otherwise, it doesn't seem to bother her or cause her any pain. It's very odd.
