Drunk and weak chicken

Hello,
My two and a half chicken suddnely became unable to stand. When it trire it stumbles backwards and lays on its side. It has progressively worse where she uses her head to adjust and its wings are always uneven. The rest of the flock are okay and roam the surrounding grass.

Really looks like Mareks to me but I'm not 100% sure. Seperate her ASAP and decide what to do.Have her poops been normal? Does she still eat and drink? Are her eyes how they should look? Do you feel bumps or uneven skin around the feathers? Is her comb paler and shrunken? Are there injuries? I'd give her a thorough check and offer her food and water with molases. Hope this helps

Okay will do. Just for some context located in Australia. She has been eating and drinking well. Water and food is always next to her. Poops very normal (quite firm, black and white). No visible injuries. Would this still indicate Mareks?

Her legs are splayed and stiff. I'd assume it'd still be mareks based on the stance especially if it was sudden and the others are fine. Is she attempting to stand or get up or are her legs just stiff and paralysed? My friend had a chicken thats was diagnosed with Mareks and had the same symptoms as yours. Try and see if you can move her legs and try to make her stand. I'd also supplement her with riboflavin (vitamin B2), vitamin E and vitamin B12. Update us on how she gets on thanks )

She is attempting to stand and walk alot. She can walk when startled but then loses balance then rests for 30-45minutes. So that means it's mareks or a vitamin deficiency?

Hello, differenciating between mareks and vitamin deficiencies can be quite hard. I'd suggest just seperating her and giving her the vitamins for a few weeks and see for improvement. If not then I'd think it'd be mareks. Also check if your flock has worms/parasites as it can cause paralysis in the legs and wings. Hopefully this helps
