So, a few days ago I went outside and my Black East Indie Drake was laying splayed out on the ground barely holding his head up. I had no idea what had happened but figured it must be heat stroke so I ran him inside and set him in the tub. I ran luke warm water over him and it didn't really help. He'd take his head and just wobble it slowly back until it was resting on his back with bill pointed towards the ceiling. I had no idea what was going on. I had to leave to go somewhere so I called and had my Dad check on him and told me he was dead. I got home and he moved so I knew he wasn't. The next morning he was fine. I came out later that day and it had happened to one of my hens! Same treatment, but she wasn't as bad off and it didn't take her as long. I didn't know what was going on. A while ago my dad threw my Black East Indies some grapes. They didn't eat them for a few days, I think it tooks them a while to figure out what they were. My dad remembered this a few days later and wondered if they were drunk. I had my BEI babies out a few days ago and I moved a board and there were a few grapes under there and one of the smallest ones got most of them. Sure enough, later that evening she couldn't walk a straight line or more than a few steps at a time. She spent most of her time laying down. My drake, looking back, was hilarious. I don't know how many fermented grapes he ate, but he was ridiculous. He'd just slowly wag his head back and forth going backwards until he could rest it on his back.

That reminds me of the lemurs that purposely bite poisonous millipedes to get high...
