Ok maybe she's not really drunk, but Edna one of my buff orpington hens has been acting that way for the past 2 days after we put a chicken saddle on her. She was a lot better today, but still hung-over. Yesterday she was walking backwards, sideways, fell off the roost twice, couldn't figure out how to get into the nest box, etc. My wife commented it was easier to saddle her horse for the first time. Anyone else have similar experiences with chicken saddles?

Nope, but I have actually given my ladies beer before

If you ever get the chance just pour a little in your hand and watch them peck at it. Some go running away some just look at you funny
