Dry feet

I was told if you keep your hens where their feet would be dry in the winter they would still lay eggs. Is this true or some old wives tale?

Well, you definitely want to keep your coop and roosts nice and dry...especially if you live somewhere with freezing temps, cause they sure won't lay if their feet freeze off!
