Noticed something on one of the 30 CX chicks and im not sure if its a normal part of the feathering process or some kind of skin issue.

Under one of the wings, the feathers/fluff/skin seems a bit crusty. It might be just some food or something is stuck on (I'm going to try some warm water to see if it will clean up, similar to when I've cleaned dried droppings from their vent area) but wanted to see if this looked relatively typical or some kind of issue i should be trying to manage. There also seems to be some bareness developing up near the neck area, but a number of the chicks have something like that going on. Other then that, it seems to be acting normal and like all of the other chicks in th bunch.

Thanks for the help!

That looks like something's stuck on there. The bareness around the neck is just lack of/thin feathers and is normal in young birds. If you take a washcloth and dampen it you can gently scrub the gunk off.
I did just that and it looks a lot less concerning. That is kind of what i figured, just wanted to make sure i wasnt missing anything since this is my first time with chick raising :)
