Dry neck skin question

Both my naked neck roo and showgirl pullet have terrible dry skin on their necks, they did have a bit of lice but I dusted them all, do I need to put lotion on them or what? Thanks in advance for the advice.

Could they be sunburned, or chemical burned. If yes maybe lotion or shade might be helpful.

They only disease I could find mentioning dry/thick/puffy/ leathery neck was Favus. Here's a couple links. Hope all goes well.

I'm sure its not chemical burns, and their coop is covered but I do let them free range during the day. It just looks like dry skin, I think I'll try some vaseline and see if that doesn't help. (So glad my neighbors can't see, they would think I'm crazy!! LOL)

Put vasaline on their necks and keep them in a chady place........also try not to let them get in alot of sun during the day that could possibly make it worse
