Hi Mahonri, I started it at 40% and let it dry down to 25. Sometimes it would hit 21. The humidity was always changing. I tried to never go over 50 but occasionally added a bit too much water. It always dried down quickly though.
On lockdown I upped it to 83% The Marans liked it, but I don't think the BLRW did as much. I think 70-75 would have been plenty for them.
I used my Genesis hovabator. and I got 20 out of 24 eggs to hatch. I did have to help a few out. But I think it was more due to big chicks who couldn't move as well. One got stuck, but when I helped it was only stuck a tiny bit and then out it came the rest was not sticky.
