Dubbing chickens

Im pretty new to raising poultry and I'm curious why do some folks (dub) their chickens which consists of cutting off the wattles,earlobes and comb all comments, info and questions welcome[=
]
 
Some breeds require dubbing to be shown.
 
These days frost bite issues. Dubbed bird less prone to frost bite on toes as well. Stress from frost bite and resulting infection can make so birds less resistant to cold and other stressors. Otherwise dubbing is a pain in the butt.
 
Oh alright that makes sence, I've noticed a lot do the lf gaming and the bantam old English birds
