Where I live it can get cold really cold do I really need to dub my chickens or should they be ok I have a really nice 8'*16' foot coop.
 
I live in Central Ny and we get SNOW and cold! Never had a problem with combs and some of my girls chose to sleep outdoors in a snowstorm. After 3 weeks of trudging through the snow to put them to sleep I gave up and they did fine

Rather than dubbing, you could put vasoline on combs to keep them from getting frost bitten. Ive had some roos with some pretty impressive combs, and they've all survived our winters with all their points.
