@WVduckchick I found your thread because I'm trying to get to golden neck and blue mille fleur in Japanese bantams. Did you follow up on this tread since then (last entry is a year old), I'd like to see where that went.

I think the project was @Egg Snatcher project. I do have golden neck d’uccles still, but I’m not cross breeding them with anything or any other color varieties.

That would be my Brown red mottled duccles project. I crossed a brown red japanese to a millie fleur duccles.

So I have this porcelain rooster. His first season, he had normal color. Last season after he molted, he grew back in almost white! He’s now coming out of another molt and seems to be getting some of his lavender color back.
Anyone seen anything like this?
