Hmmm....maybe I should order myself a whole bunch of golden necked ones from a hatchery and breed them with white! I think that will get me the chickens I want.

What chickens do you want? A pale, even, golden color?

I want a white chicken with buff (and white) coloration around the upper torso and head, blended with white. More of the ones I have!

I almost have the set up ready to try to make more lemon chickies. Just have to finnish the coop this weekend.
There is anouther auction where I originally got the Lemon roo this weekend so You can gues what I am looking for.......

While that's true about splash expression, that's not always true about the goldneck color. There really IS a difference in both varieties which I will share pics of this weekend to show the difference

Not 'correcting' anyone, but did want you to realize they are 2 seperate colors of D'uccle
ETA: Splash shows 'leakage', true GN birds do not

Here's the 'goofy-colored' funky chicken guy I promised to post pics of, as well as a baby splash roo and baby goldneck roo so you can see the difference. These are all babies so cant tell much about them just yet, other than color
